Rather bland exterior although the artistic interior and mature gardens camouflage this. Three blocks on 6 and 7-storeys, well maintained, painted in mushroom with white reasonably sized balconies with concrete and centrally placed railings.

The main entrance has marble steps and ramps featuring large flowering pots and the name of the property written in stone on the floor.

The reception and lobby is both homely and colourful with a mix of chunky wicker and iron furnishings all with brightly coloured cushions, antique dressers, mirrors, plants and vibrant Greek pictures on the walls. Floor to ceiling windows let the light flood in.

The main conservatory style bar area, with its glass roof and tropical feel has wicker furnishings and palm trees growing inside. A compact a la carte grill just off this area is painted in yellow and lilac with modern wood and rattan tables and chairs.

The main restaurant located upstairs is based in 2 separate rooms with brightly painted colourful chairs, similar homely touches as the lobby and attractive flower displays.

The drive from the entrance gives the impression of leading to someone’s palatial home, with well tended mature gardens, rich in plant diversity with water features and decorative urns.

Gardens continue internally and are a maze of pathways with private seating areas for quiet moments, interrupted only by the children’s playground which is located within a shaded area here.

The central pool area is bustling with activity with many of the surrounds occupied with seating areas for the snack bars. As well as the main pool there is a smaller angular pool, thoughtfully under shade and a children’s pool.

A coffee and ice cream bar is on one side and on the other is the main pool snack bar with a full menu and stylish colourful furnishings with director’s chairs and tiled table tops.
