Hotel Capitol, Lido Di jesolo Italy
★ ★ ★
A well maintained low key property with a friendly atmosphere and spacious communal areas. The number of steps may prove difficult for less agile guests. Although situated on the edge of the resort there are frequent buses to the centre and Punta Sabbioni, from where there are regular connections to the centre of Venice.
A dazzling sky blue coloured, rectangular, detached building that stands out from its more austere neighbours. There is a small stone balcony to most rooms; a long staircase leads from the street up to the entrance.
Property type: Hotel
Built Year: 1967
The open plan interior has a wide reception area with a view across the comfortable bar and lounge towards the beach and steps down to a bland looking restaurant with its long servery and marble floors.

Area Type: At the extreme western end of the resort at a right angle to the beach and 150 yds from Piazza Nember with its bars, restaurants and good supply of shops. Surrounded by other similar style properties. Bus stop 100 yds.
