This property is one of 4 in a group of hotels making up the resort which includes properties called the Torre, the Baia and, immediately adjacent, the Village whose bungalow style accommodation encompasses some of the shared facilities. The estate stretches down to 2 award winning beaches reached by a road train shuttle. As well as the facilities at the property, the piazza offers night-time entertainment and a popular nightclub is located across the road. This property offers refinement in quiet, picturesque surroundings particularly for couples and individuals with families perhaps opting for the Village.
The gated entrance off the Porto Pino Road, opposite a large car park in front of a restaurant facility, leads on to a small parking area and a steep drive up to a circular set-down area in front of a crazy-paved forecourt fronting the property. With trees, shrubs and flowerbeds on either side, stone columns support the exterior foyer porch with double glass doors marking the entrance. Enjoying a hillside location, the 4-storeys are contoured and staggered with balconied rooms facing out to the flamingo-inhabited lagoon and sea beyond.

A triangular reception desk occupies the centre of the interior foyer which has high white walls and ceiling, light-brown paving tiled floor and modern style wood shelving and beams. An open-plan lounge area with deep sofas and flat screen TV is located to one side. Although lifts serve each floor, the wide stairways have nooks and crannies adorned with pottery and the corridors, some revealing the natural rock upon which the property is built, are stylishly uneven and hung with local artwork. The large restaurant is situated to the further end of the reception end and is furnished with sturdy wooden settings both indoors and on a panoramic terrace.
Infront of reception is a bar servery and a large terrace furnished with deep cushioned sofas and chairs with views across to the arena and the rest of the resort. A series of wide steps lead in to the Village, a sister property of bungalow style accommodation. From here, a short and fairly steep path leads to the 2-tier pools reserved for the Laguna guests although the much larger Village pool is a little closer, albeit busier and has a bar service. Both areas are furnished with mattressed sunloungers and parasols. Beyond the Village is the Piazza where there are boutiques, a coffee shop and ice cream parlor as well as a huge outdoor auditorium and stage for evening shows. Behind this and infront of the Village Reception, a 2nd stage adjoins the childrens club facility. In addition to the fitness room tucked away behind the big pool, a road train operates regularly to the adjoining beach 1.5km away where there is a further restaurant. Overlooking the road, opposite the 2 receptions, is the Luna Complex which, by day, has restaurant and shopping facilities and by night becomes an a-la-carte dining venue with an additional stylish bar and lively nightclub.
Area Type: Standing above the road to Porto Pino, 60km from Cagliari and 6km from the its fork off the main southern highway south of Santa Margherita. The estate borders some of the most famous sand-dune backed beaches of the island with the gorges and fjords of Cape Spartvento a short drive further along the coast. Both the Luna complex and piazza offer additional bars and shops with a choice of 4 other restaurants at the resorts hotels. Transfer time to Cagliari Airport 60 minutes.
