Equidistant from the town and the shimmering beaches of the Costa Smeraldo, this property enjoys a prominent location surrounded by stunning scenery. Indeed, much of the hotel is as scenic with the grounds stretching down to a large pool deck, surrounded by woodland, which provides a special outdoor dining venue once a week. The restaurant and bar are located on the ground floor of the main building and, although consideration should be given to the steps down to the pool area, this makes a popular base either for a contained stay or as a touring centre.
On a bend of the road, the tarmac drive leads up 300m through the wooded grounds to a tiered car park area shaded by trees and onto a circular set down area in front of the a short paved exterior passage leading to the double door main entrance. The forecourt is adorned with trailing plants and traditional stone walls incorporating tiled benches. A series of steps lead down from the porch as a secondary entry and for access to the grounds below. Accommodation is mainly located in 2 and 3 storey wings all with either a balcony or terrace.

The doors open onto a large tiled floor foyer with a long reception desk and, to the side, a small internet lounge. Beyond a wide stairway to the upper floor, there is a comfortably furnished lounge and a small bar with high-backed wicker stools and cafe-style seating. There is a large restaurant occupying most of this floor with indoor and covered terrace, the latter with spectacular views, seating at sturdy wooden settings. Traditional features include a large open fire used for cooking suckling pig if inclement weather prevents using the outdoor venue.
From the terrace, a door opens to a huge expanse of tree-surrounded lawn overlooked by many of the rooms. Suite accommodation is situated in a separate block towards the far end of the gardens, which also has a tiered terrace looking over the hills, and is furnished with metal patio-style furnishings. The second part of the grounds are reached from the front entrance, down the main stairway and on along a stepped paved path, bordered by spectacular rock formations, through the woods to the expansive pool deck which is surrounded by a tiled terrace and furnished with mattressed sunloungers and parasols. The adjacent snack and bar facility has wooden patio-style furniture looking over the pool to the natural rock formation feature. Beyond this and down further steps is a wooded area with picnic-style wooden benches on tiers where an open barbecue cooking area is the venue for the weekly traditional Sardinian dinner.
