Grand villa, dating back to 1868 with stunning, intricate interiors and original features, possibly the most visually impressive property in Florence. Contemporary, stylish pool bar and restaurant are set in attractive grounds.
Some guests rooms are in the main building and the remainder in either of two smaller villas. Major renovation completed in 2010. Sister properties in the centre are the Santa Maria Novella, L’Orologio, Rosso 23 and Balestri.
Appeals those wanting to stay in a stylish, historic, establishment, away from the main crowds in the centre. Mainly English-speaking guests from America and Great Britain.
On the opposite side of the river to the historic centre. In an elevated position in an upmarket residential area, close to the Boboli Gardens, a 10-minute walk away. Free property shuttle bus operates everyday. Bus also stops outside. Ponte Vecchio and the river are a 15-20 minute walk away. Nearest amenities are a 10-minute walk away and there is little else in the immediate vicinity.
20-minute walk to the centre of the city and a 20 minute drive to the airport.
Outdoor heated 12m infinity pool has stepped entry and is surrounded by statues and sunbeds under parasols. Fifth-floor roof terrace has a few tables and chairs.
