A charming typically Moroccan riad that is relatively easy to find, compared with many of its neighbours. It should appeal to those who prefer a charm filled base with attractive decor and simple luxury in the heart of one of the city’s most respected areas, adjacent to the Bahia Palace. The onsite restaurant offers typical Moroccan cuisine and has an occasional Berber folklore show.
A plain sided and sturdy looking 12th century building with thick fortress like walls and a small discreet doorway.

The intimate and tasteful interior is a design buff’s paradise with its tiny courtyard, narrow lounges and traditional Berber furnishings and textiles. One lounge doubles as a restaurant and offers a weekly Arabian evening. The low tables and chairs add to the charm and intimacy.
A small courtyard features a number of healthy plants and a small pool and a fair supply of chairs and tables for alfresco candle lit dining. A wide roof terrace, with roman style columns has more tables for the breakfast service and a few sunloungers, with views over the rooftops towards the Bahia Palace and the Atlas Mountains beyond.
