A tranquil, palatial property in contrast to the hubbub and chaos outside. A smaller sister property, the Dar Anika, which often acts as an annexe, is located in the medina 300m away. The traditional architecture, colourful fabrics and loft arches create a truly palatial atmosphere which rarely disappoints. Unusually for the area, taxis are able to drop guests off at the door.
Attracts French, German and British guests looking for a quality, peaceful venue with the finest decor and furnishings and a peaceful atmosphere.
On the edge of the medina, 150m outside the city walls, 700m south east of Jemma el Fna. There are a few local shops in the immediate vicinity and a row of herbalists, snack outlets and textile shops 150m to the west. Taxis are able to stop outside the door and horse drawn carriages often pass by. There are a few restaurants 250m away, towards the city centre.
The Kasbah is located beyond the Royal Palace, 300m to the west and the Koutoubia mosque is 600m further on. The souqs are beyond Jemma el Fna, stretching out 750m away to the north.
A small courtyard pool has a fountain to one side and attractive traditional Moroccan tiling. Sunbathing is possible on comfortable sunloungers on the roof patio which has views over the medina.
