A gracious, quality orientated establishment that offers a warm, homely welcome to its guests in refined surroundings with much attention to detail and quality service.
There are many stairs in the building, which many not appeal to the less agile but this is compensated by the easy access to many of the main sights and the close proximity of taxis and other transport.
Guest accommodation is located off various courtyards and landings which are decorated with authentic Moroccan memorabilia and attractive vegetation.
A flat fronted, arched corner entrance complements a sturdy fortress-like pink coloured wall. Inner courtyards are softer on the eye, with sweeping arches and slender pillars. Tiny turrets and domes add character and the many arched windows overlooking the inner courtyards help to create an exotic ambience.

A traditional fountain provides interest and style to the main courtyard with its intricate tiling and elegant arches. Pool is barely large enough for swimming and more ornamental in purpose.
Roof top terrace enjoys views over the Kasbah to the Royal Palace and accommodates a range of comfortable sofas and sunloungers, as well as a row of tables for alfresco dining with views.
Tiny lobby area has a dual aspect reception desk to one side and display of attractive wood carvings. A corridor gives way to an enchanting courtyard with lush vegetatiom and plenty of seating for relaxation which is overlooked by sweeping arches.
Tiny lounges and a library offer intimate corners for drinks, reading and socialising, whilst a bar area is kitted out with traditional Moroccan textiles and artefacts.
Evening dining and breakfast service takes place in the courtyards, on the roof terrace or in a small, intimate restaurant area with comfortable seating and traditional decor.
Area Type: In the southern part of the Medina, at the start of the Kasbah area, adjacent to the Royal Palace and Saaidan Tombs. On a narrow alley, in a cul de sac, 20m from a relatively busy road, at the entrance to the main street of the Kasbah. There are a good number of shops and restaurants nearby as well as other similarly styled riad properties. Taxis wait on the main road and horse drawn carriages may be found near the main gates of the Kasbah, 100m away.
