A well-respected and attractive establishment with two sister properties in the medina, the Lotus Ambre and Lotus Pearle. A cheerful, upmarket ambience prevails in the well-maintained communal areas. The property attracts discerning travellers and although refined, has no feeling of stuffiness. The narrow alley ways outside may make it difficult upon arrival and so new guests may find it convenient to accept the meet-and-greet service.

Location

In the very heart of the Dar Bacha district, in a narrow street, surrounded by small residences, other riad style properties, with occasional donkey carts passing by. Main street leading into the souks is only 80m away and taxis wait 150m away.

City

The well known Cafe Arab is 150m away towards the market area. The museums of Marrakech and the Jemma el Fna area are 180m away with the Koutoubia Mosque 200m beyond the Jemma el Fna.

Pool

A couple of suites have a private pool whilst a small communal offering in the central courtyard is a shaded retreat during the day. Sunbathing is possible on the large roof terrace.

There are no leisure or entertainment facilities onsite, although there is occasional music at the Cafe Arab nearby.

The many stairs and narrow entrances are not suitable for wheelchair-users, although the stairways have sturdy handrails.
