A world famous, top drawer establishment which was completely refurbished in 2008. Attracts the rich and famous as well as well heeled clients requiring the finest in decor and service, in an enviable location between the Medina and new town areas.
Extensive gardens are one of the property’s main features together with the state of the art spa facility. Security is tight both at the off street gate and main entrance and since refurbishment there are far fewer casual visitors having a look at how the other half live. A long pink coloured, ornate looking building with wide, recessed balconies, which is approached through a large arched gateway with a security lodge and shop on either side.
Main entrance is approached by a short flight of steps and immediately impresses with its stylish, luxurious decor. Wide terraces line the rear of the building, overlooking the garden and pool areas.
A single storey extension to one side of the rear grounds houses a large restaurant, which is primarily used for breakfast service.

A massive lobby has elegant chandeliers, a narrow, discreet reception, concierge desks and comfortable seating which are all overlooked by a high, intricately decorated ceiling and a display of wall paintings.
There is a variety of onsite bars, including a traditional club like venue with dark polished woods and rich textiles. A pleasant daytime bar overlooks the gardens.
Main restaurant is spacious and impersonal with a large servery and terrace. A Moroccan style restaurant is extremely intimate and luxurious with its traditional decor and sumptuous seating.
An arcade of shops features extravagant designer goods and wide corridors lead off the lobby towards attractive lounge like spaces with elegant, traditional tiling and ornate hand painted ceilings.
Gardens are a photographer’s dream with a magnificent display of flowering shrubs, trees and colourful plants. Wide paths link the various areas and small statues add to the overall charm and quality.
There is a terrace running at the rear of the main building and a large dining area to one side of the pool. Pool surround accommodates a good supply of parasols and comfortable sunloungers. Spa facility is one of the property’s many outstanding features, offering a wide range of health related treatments.
Area Type: Situated 200m to the west of the medina area, with the Koutoubia Gardens and Mosque located 120m away from the main entrance. There are a few shops and eateries in the Hivernage district, 300m away, with plenty of souks, street stalls and authentic retail outlets stretching out from the Jemma el Fna, 400m to the north east. Taxis wait outside the entrance and the hotel offers a courtesy car service.
